The Supply Chain and Logistics program provides students with a well-rounded exposure to the international supply chain and the skills needed to be successful in the industry. Students will develop proficiencies appropriate for a wide range of careers in supply chain and logistics.

Graduates will have developed essential skills needed to succeed in a role that requires attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The Supply Chain and Logistics program will qualify grads to pursue positions such as Logistics Coordinator, Dispatcher, Warehouse Associate Supervisor, Purchasing Agent, Billing Agent, Materials Management Analyst, Scheduler, Loss Prevention Agent, Cargo and Freight Agent or Customs Broker.

POST SECONDARY PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

Supply Chain Canada and Eastern Academy have formalized a Post-Secondary Partnership Agreement for the graduates of the Supply Chain and Logistics diploma program. This agreement will provide an efficient path for our graduates to pursue the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation. This means that Eastern Academy’s Supply Chain and Logistics program has been approved for credit transfer towards attaining the SCMP designation.

ARTICULATION AGREEMENT

Eastern Academy has an Articulation Agreement with Yorkville University in New Brunswick that automatically awards graduates of the Supply Chain and Logistics program 36 block transfer credits toward completion of Yorkville University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. To be eligible for admission and the awarding of this block of transfer credits, students must have graduated with a minimum grade of 70% in each course in the Supply Chain and Logistics program.

Graduates of the Supply Chain and Logistics program who wish to continue to pursue Yorkville University’s BBA degree can complete all required courses online.

CERTIFICATIONS

Successful graduates of the program who meet the requirements outlined by the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) will achieve a Certificate in International Freight Forwarding. The certificate is nationally recognized within the international transportation and international trade logistics industries.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 or equivalent or mature student status. Please call the campus for more details.

Graduates of the Supply Chain & Logistics Diploma Program receive advance standing towards the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation. The SCMP designation is an internationally-accredited certification of strategic supply chain leadership, and is Canada’s most widely-held designation in supply chain management.
