Huge congratulations to our Student of the Month for November: Kaelan M!

Here is what Kaelan’s instructors have to say about him:

“Kaelan is nearing completion of the Child & Youth Care Worker with Addiction Support Program. Within the last two years, Kaelan has shown dedication and commitment to our program and campus. He is the first one in class each morning, the first to lend a helping hand, has an extremely creative mind and a listening ear.

Kaelan shares a great lens of knowledge, understanding and is very reliable. If you have had the pleasure to be around Kaelan, you will feel welcomed, non-judged and will always walk away sharing laughter.

Throughout the program, Kaelan has thrived not only in the classroom, but as well as on his first field placement at an elementary school last school year. The first couple of days in the new school year, a child went to the administrators to ask if Kaelan was returning.

Kaelan was able to establish relationships that provided safety, understanding and flexibility with these young people, and that’s not easily forgotten. The young people saw what we, as his instructors and classmates, get to experience daily. We look forward to the places and impact he will have within our community of youth and families. The sky is the limit for you Kaelan. Continue being you and showing your passion in the supporting field. It’s almost time again to go plant more seeds for our young people!”
